Un Autre Homme
François knows nothing about cinema but has to review films for a little newspaper in Vallée de Joux. Rosa is a well known critic who works in the biggest newspaper of the country. A odd relationship begins between them, leading François to discover the mecanisms of desire, those of a woman; the critic; and finally his own.
The cinema quickly became a passion, and François went to Lausanne to attend a press conference prepared for all Lake Geneva critics. This is where Rosa’s acquaintance, a critic of “The Epoch”, a great reference newspaper, comes from. A perverse relationship is established between the two beings, leading Francis to discover the mechanisms of desire. The one who was a woman and the one who criticized. Until Francis’s deception is discovered …
“Un autre homme” is a social satire about our inconsolable desire to please and to appear.
