In Burma, the « Venerable W. » is a highly influential Buddhist monk. To meet him is to find oneself in the heart of daily racism and watching how islamophobia and hate rhetoric transform into violence and destruction. Yet we are in a country where 90% of the population is Buddhist, a religion founded on peaceful, tolerant and non-violent way of life.
