
“THE LINE” – Ursula Meier’s new film at the Berlinale 2022
We are delighted to announce that Ursula Meier’s new film THE LINE has been selected for the Competition at the Berlinale 2022, taking place from February 10 to 20.
This marks Ursula Meier’s second Competition selection in Berlin, where L’ENFANT D’EN HAUT previously won the Silver Bear – Special Prize in 2012.
The leading roles are played by Stéphanie Blanchoud and Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi. They are joined by Dali Benssalah, India Hair, Benjamin Biolay, Eric Ruf, Thomas Wiesel and young Lausanne-based actress Elli Spagnolo, making her screen debut.
LA LIGNE is produced by Pauline Gygax and Max Karli for BANDITA FILMS and co-produced by Marie-Ange Luciani for Les Films de Pierre and Delphine Tomson, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne for Les Films du Fleuve. In co-production with ARTE France Cinéma, RTS Radio Télévision Suisse, Voo and Be TV, and RTBF.
