LA DÉRIVE DES CONTINENTS (AU SUD), Lionel Baier’s new film at the Directors’ Fortnight!

We are delighted to announce that Lionel Baier’s new film LA DÉRIVE DES CONTINENTS (AU SUD) will have its world premiere at the Directors’ Fortnight!

This is the third instalment of Lionel Baier’s caustic and heartfelt tetralogy about the construction of Europe, an exploration of the four cardinal points of Europe, which began in 2006 with Comme des voleurs (à l’est), followed in 2013 by Les Grandes Ondes (à l’ouest).

The leading roles are played by Isabelle Carré, Théodore Pellerin and Ursina Lardi, alongside Ivan Georgiev, Tom Villa and Daphne Scoccia.

The screenplay was written by Lionel Baier and Laurent Larivière, with the participation of Marina De Van and Julien Bouissoux.

LA DÉRIVE DES CONTINENTS (AU SUD) is produced by Pauline Gygax and Max Karli for BANDITA FILMS and co-produced by Margaret Menegoz for Les Films du Losange.
