Stuntwomen

Virginie, Petra, and Estelle are stuntwomen. They get run over by cars or struck by violent husbands and gangsters, often repeatedly. And each time, they get back on their feet, ready to shoot the scene as many times as necessary. Freedom, fame, or the pursuit of power drives these women to push their bodies to the limit. But what kind of violence can their bodies and minds endure? The film examines how cinema and television assign roles and depict violence on screen.
