JOSIE GOES TO WAR
Josie, 24, has one passion in life: Napoleonic historical reenactment, where she plays a foot soldier. In secret, she dreams of joining Napoleon Bonaparte’s Imperial Guard, an officer role strictly reserved for men.
When Paul (40), the famous American Napoleon lookalike, offers her the role of Joséphine de Beauharnais, the Empress and Napoleon’s great love, Josie sees a golden opportunity: she accepts, on the condition that she will subsequently be promoted to officer. But this pact becomes the starting point for a troubling role-play, caught between desire, control and manipulation.
To find herself and forge her own freedom, Josie will have to make a decisive choice…
